Environmental Consulting

We conduct environmental consulting services for a range of our clients, including Councils, government bodies and developers.

Our environmental consulting services include:

• Vegetation Management Plans - we produce VMPs for government clients, as well as private landholders who are seeking development consent. The VMP is a report that assists the landholder to manage the environmental zones of a site. It is later used by Council to test the compliance of the environmental area with set guidelines. We work with the client from the start to finish of the program to ensure that the VMP is approved, and we implement the on-site works including bush regeneration, revegetation and soil conservation. All of our Vegetation Management Plans have been approved and the site management programs have been successful.

• Weed Management Plans - we produce WMPs for private clients, who are in most instances seeking development consent. This document assists the landholder to plan the controlled treatment of weeds, in line with Council requirements.

• Flora and Fauna surveys - our flora and fauna surveying includes using technology such as camera trapping and also Anabat Bat Detectors. Our in-house environmental consultant, Kirsty Reynolds, draws on a vast experience in plant identification and fauna surveying to produce comprehensive Flora and Fauna surveys.

• GIS Mapping - this includes using GIS technology to perform site mapping, as well as weed mapping across vast areas. Our GIS system allows us to produce data in all of the popular file formats.
