Since the company’s launch in 2006 Blue Tongue has expanded rapidly to become a major player in conservation and land management/bush regeneration in Western Sydney employing over 30 staff. Our centre of focus is western and north western Sydney, as well as the Blue Mountains. We have contracts with 5 councils as well as the Local Land Services, National Parks, and Sydney Water.

Blue Tongue is looking to employ:

• 1 Site supervisor in the Western Sydney area
• 2 trained bush regenerators in the western Sydney and Hawkesbury area.
• 2 trainees in the western Sydney and Hawkesbury area.

Criteria for trained bush regenerators:

• Minimum 4 days per week
• Prepared to work in Parramatta and Hawkesbury area.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the bush regeneration industry
• Experience in a wide variety of modern bush regeneration and revegetation techniques including herbicide spraying.
• Chemcert Certificate 3 or equivalent.
• Must have own transport
• Must be physically fit

Criteria for trainees:

• Minimum 4 days per week
• Prepared to work in Parramatta and Hawkesbury area.
• Preference given to applicants with on-ground experience or work with Green Army.
• Must have own transport
